Auto-Immune Disease = Auto-Antigen and Auto-Antibodies
Diagram of an Auto-Antigen
Tissue associated auto-antigens in rheumatoid arthritis
Antigen: A substance that is capable of causing the production of an antibody.
Antigens may or may not lead to an allergic reaction. Allergens are antigens that cause an allergic reaction and the production of IgE. When antigens come from the body’s own tissues (such as a certain tissue protein) it is referred to as an autoantigen, which means we are allergic to ourselves. The antibody that acts against it is referred to as an autoantibody - and this means we produce autoantibodies against ourselves too. When a disease is characterized by the production of autoantibodies, it is called an autoimmune disease.
I know from numerous case studies that an ALLERGY RELIEF CLEARING attenuates the development of allergic immune responses and inhibits allergen-specific IgE production.
